Delete Your Account

Astral is a product of Mistiq LLC. This page explains how to delete your Astral account and the personal information attached to it. You can do it yourself inside the app, or email us and we will do it for you.

Option 1: delete it yourself

Open Astral, or sign in at astralinvesting.com.
Go to Profile.
Under Legal & support, tap Delete account.
Read what will be removed, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. You are signed out straight away and the session stops working.

Option 2: email us

If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We verify that you own the address and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign in details, including your email address, password hash, and any Google or Apple sign in link
Your identity and tax record: name, date of birth, phone number, address, citizenship, immigration status, country of tax residence, and the last four digits of your SSN or ITIN
Your cash ledger, positions, option positions, orders, and full transaction history
Watchlists, baskets, goals, recurring investments, round up settings, price alerts, and notifications
Lesson progress and your paper trading account
Your bank link, including the encrypted access token held for our bank connection provider
Your active sessions, so you are signed out everywhere

What happens to your subscription

If you have an Astral Premium subscription, it is cancelled as part of the deletion so you are not billed again. If you subscribed inside the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in that store's subscription settings as well, because only the store can stop a purchase it manages.

Before you delete, if your account holds value

Once Astral is trading real money, you will need to sell any positions, let pending transfers settle, and withdraw your cash before the account can be deleted. That is deliberate: deleting the account also deletes the record of what you are owed. The app tells you exactly what is outstanding and will not let you proceed until it is clear.

Astral currently runs against its brokerage partner's test environment, so accounts today hold no real money and nothing blocks deletion.

What we keep, and for how long

Brokerage records. If a brokerage account was opened for you, our brokerage partner holds its own copy of your identity and trading records and must retain them for several years under financial recordkeeping rules. Deleting your Astral account does not close that account. Email [email protected] and we will help you close it with them.
Payment records. Transaction records held by Stripe, Apple, or Google may be retained as tax and accounting law requires. These contain no identity or trading content from your Astral profile.
Anything the law requires us to keep. Where a rule obliges us to retain a record, we keep only that record and only for as long as required.
